A copy of the Monumental Inscriptions 1716 – 1981, including those on Loppington War Memorial prepared by Shropshire Family History Society (www.sfhs.org.uk) is held at Shropshire Archives and is also available for inspection in church.

Tithe Apportionment

Loppington Ecclesiastical Parish also comprises, Brown Heath, Burlton, Commonwood, Noneley and parts of Ruewood. The Tithe Apportionment and Maps 1839 are held on microfilm and microform by Shropshire Archives. If searching Brown Heath in Loppington Parish look also at Frankton Township in Ellesmere Parish.

This document is held by Shropshire Archives in the Salt Collection ref: D5651/B/37/1/22. Some of the writing is difficult to decipher. It contains 78 family names and 9 place names. A copy of the plan and an abstract of names are held in church and also by David Edge.
